Garden of Education – Don’t Rebuke

King Solomon in Proverbs says: ‘Love compensates for all wrongdoing.’  If you really love someone, you will forgive them through all their mistakes, moods and nonsense. Our love is unfortunately limited by our own poor character traits, which causes us to vent, criticise, embarrass….  Rebbe Nachman says that is forbidden to rebuke, because the way of rebuke is not education. Education is all about desire and motivation, encouragement and pushing in the right direction, with excitement. Rather than rebuke, serve as a personal example and always be encouraging.
