Why setbacks?

Setbacks are usually a heavenly hint to a person that he must rectify something. Sometimes, the lack of success comes as a reminder that success must not be taken for granted. And sometimes as Rebbe Nachman writes (Luketi Moharan) it is simply to arouse a person to seek enhanced proximity to Hashem. Strangely enough as I was trying to publish this, one of the kids came along and disabled the connection, then another closed the computer screen. It’s much easier to write this stuff than live it!
